Speaking

As a verbal-processor, speaking is simply a natural part of who I am—I LOVE to talk! Especially behind a microphone. I am passionate about communicating the transforming love of Jesus Christ to audiences of all sizes. It has been my honor and privilege to speak at women’s conferences and retreats, as well as at life-affirming events.

I’m fascinated by women in the Bible who encountered Jesus Christ in amazing ways. The woman at the well and the woman who touched the hem of Jesus’s garment are two of my favorites. Utilizing the power of monologue, these women “come to life.” Weaving in my own story of emerging from a life dominated by fear and anxiety into greater freedom than I’ve ever known, I seek to offer others HOPE.

As a nurse with years of experience in a life-affirming Pregnancy center, I bring a unique perspective to pro-life banquets. I have watched the power of ultrasound as it reveals life within the womb. That powerful tool, combined with the message that God loves them, has been transforming lives for many years. The battle to defend the unborn has never seemed more critical in our current culture, where life is considered disposable. Learning how to communicate to the woman that SHE is valuable, that SHE is precious in God’s sight, as well as in our own, gives us a far greater chance of communicating that her BABY has tremendous worth as well.

What can you expect at one of my events? I love connecting with my audience, regardless of the size. Plan on laughter, but be sure to bring a few tissues as well. As a storyteller, I love bringing characters to life through monologues. In the end, I’m just a girl in pursuit of a more authentic walk with the Lord. I love to travel, so perhaps we’ll meet one day!

Possible topics:

  • Come Thirsty: Lessons learned from the woman at the well. This woman’s story reveals that no matter how hopelessly broken we are, Jesus continues to offer living water to all who come thirsty.
  • Come Expecting: Lessons learned from the woman who touched the hem of Jesus’ garment. A desperate woman shows us how to get up and press through everything that has been holding us back for so long.
  • Nothing to Prove: Learning to get off the merry-go-round of comparison and competition. The problem with the issue of comparison is nothing new. This session will help us take off our masks, drop our measuring sticks, and find our value in Christ alone.
  • The Preciousness of Life: I love to speak at banquets and conferences, highlighting not only the incredible value of the unborn but of the mother and father as well. With over a decade of experience as a registered nurse at two local pregnancy centers, I share stories of the power of ultrasound as well as the power in communicating the transforming love of Christ to hurting men and women.
